Job Summary

The Associate Software Engineer will engage in the full software development life cycle, including coding, debugging, testing, and maintaining applications across various platforms. The role involves following program specifications while supporting internal and external client solutions, with exposure to both front-end and back-end development technologies. Candidates will gain experience working with APIs, databases, and web frameworks, adhering to Payment Card Industry (PCI) security compliance. This position nurtures learning with supervision and collaboration within a flexible development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop basic code using front-end or back-end programming languages.
• Support application documentation, testing, and validation activities.
• Debug and correct basic software deficiencies as directed.
• Follow development methodologies and adhere to PCI compliance standards.
• Collaborate within teams and maintain detailed coding and program documents.

Qualifications & Skills

• BS in Computer Science, IT, Business/Management Information Systems, or related field.
• Familiarity with multiple programming languages and technologies including Java, Python, .NET, HTML, JavaScript, and related frameworks such as React.js, Angular.
• Experience or knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases like Oracle, MySQL, DB2, Hadoop.
• Understanding of operating systems such as Linux, Windows, z/OS.
• Exposure to development tools including Eclipse, Visual Studio, Webpack, Babel.
• Basic knowledge of APIs, external services, and software development lifecycle.
