Job Summary

As a Trainee at Wipro, you will be responsible for configuring and testing the Wipro Proprietary Total Benefit Administration System to meet client requirements. This involves using proprietary tools to set up and configure parameters within the system based on detailed analysis. You will work closely with team members to ensure solutions meet quality and performance standards, while developing your skills in SQL, SAS, Mainframes, and software testing. This role offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to start their IT career in a global technology leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and test the Wipro Proprietary Total Benefit Administration System according to client specifications.
• Use proprietary tools to set up and adjust system parameters.
• Write and execute simple and complex SQL queries.
• Apply principles of automation testing where applicable.
• Conduct system testing and follow quality assurance best practices.
• Break down complex problems into smaller, manageable tasks and understand the relationships between them.
• Collaborate with team members to meet organizational goals and project timelines.
• Take ownership and responsibility for assigned work.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: B.E / B.Tech / MCA graduates (2024 and 2025 batch only).
• Service Agreement: 12 months.
• Shift Timings: 5:30 PM to 3:00 AM (9.5 hours shift).
• Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), SAS, and Mainframe concepts.
  • Ability to write intermediate-level SQL queries.
  • Understanding of relational database concepts, including table relationships, keys, and DB2 queries.
  • Exposure to automation testing is desirable.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent oral, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated team player with strong ownership of work.
