Job Summary

This position is for fresh graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience to join Virtusa’s L1 Production Support team. The role focuses on supporting enterprise applications and infrastructure, monitoring system health, managing incidents, and ensuring smooth IT operations in a 24/7 environment. Successful candidates will gain significant experience in critical support workflows and enhance their problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor apps and infrastructure using Nagios, Grafana, Splunk, dashboards
• Troubleshoot and triage incidents, log and categorize them
• Respond to system alerts, take predefined actions or escalate
• Ticket management via ServiceNow, Remedy
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and incident logs
• Communicate with stakeholders and escalate issues to L2/L3 teams
• Rotational shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications & Skills

• B.Tech in CSE or IT
• 1–2 years’ experience (or fresh graduate)
• Strong technical foundation: Python, Java, SQL, Linux, Networking
• ITIL and production support concepts
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication
• Teamwork and adaptability; willing to work shifts.
