Job Summary
This position is for fresh graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience to join Virtusa’s L1 Production Support team. The role focuses on supporting enterprise applications and infrastructure, monitoring system health, managing incidents, and ensuring smooth IT operations in a 24/7 environment. Successful candidates will gain significant experience in critical support workflows and enhance their problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor apps and infrastructure using Nagios, Grafana, Splunk, dashboards
- Troubleshoot and triage incidents, log and categorize them
- Respond to system alerts, take predefined actions or escalate
- Ticket management via ServiceNow, Remedy
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and incident logs
- Communicate with stakeholders and escalate issues to L2/L3 teams
- Rotational shifts including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications & Skills
- B.Tech in CSE or IT
- 1–2 years’ experience (or fresh graduate)
- Strong technical foundation: Python, Java, SQL, Linux, Networking
- ITIL and production support concepts
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication
- Teamwork and adaptability; willing to work shifts.
