Job Summary
Poshmark is hiring SDET Interns for its Engineering team in Chennai. The role involves developing, maintaining, and executing test automation for mobile and web applications, ideal for those passionate about modern testing frameworks. Interns will gain hands-on experience in designing automation scripts and collaborating with developers to enhance code quality. Over the course of the internship, candidates will work on functional, integration, and regression testing, contributing to a rapidly growing social commerce platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated test cases for mobile, web, and API platforms
- Collaborate with developers to design appropriate test coverage
- Execute automated/manual test cases and report defects
- Maintain and improve existing test automation frameworks
- Participate in code reviews, QA meetings, and feature planning
- Develop scripts and tools for testing activities
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong grasp of Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, OOP)
- Basic programming/scripting experience in Python, Java, JavaScript, or Kotlin
- Familiarity with Selenium, Appium, or Cypress test frameworks
- Exposure to API testing and tools like Postman or REST Assured
- Basic CI/CD, version control (Git), and build tools (Jenkins)
- Analytical and debugging skills, with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Bonus: Experience in mobile/web testing, SQL/database testing, familiarity with unit, integration, regression, performance testing, and test reporting frameworks
