Job Summary

Google is seeking an Android Software Engineer-2 to join its Bengaluru team and build innovative products for millions of users globally. The position involves developing product and system code, leading reviews, and ensuring code quality and efficiency. The engineer will debug and resolve technical issues and contribute to documentation while collaborating closely with peers and stakeholders.​

Key Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code
• Participate in or lead design reviews and technology selection
• Review code for best practices in style, accuracy, testability, and efficiency
• Maintain and adapt documentation and educational content
• Debug, triage, and resolve product or system issues impacting operations and quality​

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 1–2 years in software development with one or more languages (Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript)
• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or related field preferred
• Experience developing accessible technologies
• Strong analytical and teamwork skills​
