Job Summary

Deloitte is hiring a Trainee Associate – NOC within its Artificial Intelligence & Engineering practice, supporting the Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure team. In this entry-level role, you will work in a 24×7 Network Operations Center environment monitoring critical applications and infrastructure, coordinating incident response, and supporting large-scale enterprise clients. You will gain hands-on experience with leading monitoring, ITSM and automation tools while collaborating closely with DevOps, operations and product teams. This position is ideal for non-engineering graduates looking to start a career in IT operations, NOC/SOC, and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform 24/7 “eyes on glass” monitoring of applications and infrastructure using tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Solarwinds, Datadog, and Nagios.
• Act as Incident Coordinator, initiate or join major incident bridge calls, escalate tickets, document progress, and participate in Post-Incident Reviews (PIRs).
• Triage and route auto-generated tickets based on SOPs, ensuring rapid acknowledgement, response, and support for Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Maintain and update knowledge bases and known error databases to improve L1 support and reduce SME dependency.
• Identify recurring issues, document SOPs, and suggest automation opportunities to “shift left” and minimize manual interventions.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Operations, Product teams, and third-party vendors for escalation, SOP development and incident resolution.
• Track and report KPIs such as MTTD/MTTR, ticket volumes, change validations and avoided major incidents.
• Work in rotational shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) from office with no hybrid option.

Qualifications & Skills

• 0–6 months of experience in IT operations, NOC/SOC, incident management, or application support in a 24/7 environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, BSc-IT, BCA or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Familiarity with monitoring platforms (Dynatrace, Grafana, Azure Monitor, Nagios, Solarwinds, Datadog) and ITSM tools (ServiceNow, JIRA).
• Understanding of alert configuration, dashboards, real-time monitoring and incident workflows.
• Exposure to scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash) is preferred.
• ITIL Foundation certification or similar ITSM credentials is an added advantage.
• Strong process orientation with experience following or documenting SOPs and contributing to knowledge bases.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
