Job Summary
As a Graduate Engineer Trainee in Production Support at Alight, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and reliable operation of .NET applications. The role includes troubleshooting, performance optimization, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain application stability. This position offers hands-on experience in cloud technologies and production environment support.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues in .NET applications
- Support .NET application lifecycle including deployment and upgrades
- Monitor and optimize application performance and database queries
- Maintain documentation and collaborate across teams
- Communicate technical issues effectively to diverse audiences
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong knowledge of .NET technologies including .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL databases
- Familiarity with application monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, New Relic, Elasticsearch
- Experience with AWS Cloud, Ansible, GitHub
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience or knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices including CI/CD
