Job Summary
HCLTech’s off-campus drive targets Service Desk Analysts for first-level IT support in Lucknow, Nagpur, and Madurai, handling incidents via ticketing tools in a 24×7 environment. Software Engineer roles in Bangalore involve developing applications using Java, Python, or .NET for client projects following SDLC. Both positions offer entry into global tech operations with training and career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1 support for hardware/software/network issues; log and escalate via ServiceNow/Jira (Service Desk).
- Develop, test, and deploy code; integrate with SQL databases and participate in agile sprints (Software Engineer).
- Troubleshoot OS/network problems and meet SLAs; conduct code reviews and bug fixes.
- Collaborate with teams for resolutions and process improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (Any / B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc CS/IT); 70%+ preferred for engineers.
- Service Desk: 6+ months support experience, communication, shift readiness, basic Windows/Linux/networking.
- Software Engineer: Java/C++/Python/.NET, OOPS, SQL, SDLC knowledge.
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork for both roles.
