Job Summary
As a Technology Consulting Intern at Microsoft, you’ll work on real-world projects by participating in project planning, risk identification, and mitigation. You’ll implement technical solutions aligned to customer business goals and build strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders. This role empowers you to bring your ideas to life while working on cutting-edge technology within a global team.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to pre-sales by leveraging business requirements to shape technical input and solution offerings.
- Participate in customer/partner meetings to understand needs and define requirements with guidance.
- Develop knowledge in Microsoft intellectual property (IP) and apply it to project tasks.
- Identify issues, risks, and engage stakeholders to resolve and drive project success.
- Spot opportunities to accelerate cloud and Microsoft technology adoption.
- Cultivate relationships to understand satisfaction drivers and recommend improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field
- At least one additional semester/term remaining after internship completion
Preferred:
- Passion for technology and customer obsession
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills across senior leaders and partners
- Excellent verbal/written communication, analytical, and presentation skills
- Delivery Management certification (e.g., Scrum, Agile, Project Management)
