Job Summary

Zoho is hiring SOC Analysts through its Off Campus Drive for freshers and experienced candidates up to 6 years. The role involves monitoring cybersecurity events, reporting threats, and initiating changes to protect the organization. Analysts will provide technical assistance, create assessment reports, perform event triage, investigate security events, and continuously improve monitoring effectiveness. This is a 24/7 shift role with rotations and focuses on defending Zoho’s network and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Stay updated on latest malware and security threats
• Provide detailed technical assistance for mitigation and remediation efforts
• Create comprehensive assessment and remediation reports
• Monitor ticket queues and prioritize based on urgency
• Monitor internal communication for queries from external teams
• Conduct 24/7 alert monitoring and incident raising
• Assist senior analysts in incident investigation and response
• Perform initial triage and investigate security events using defined playbooks
• Follow up for closure of raised security incidents
• Continuously improve monitoring efficacy and identify investigable outliers

Qualifications & Skills

• Administrative skills in Windows, OS X, and Linux operating systems
• Proficiency in basic shell scripting (mandatory), creating security tool rules, or log search query languages
• Ability to handle common security incidents independently and escalate when necessary
• Knowledge of at least one programming language
